This battery eliminates the biggest weakness of the Galaxy S3, battery life. With the stock battery, I was forced to spend my days making sure the phone was plugged into a charger whenever possible in order to keep it alive. On a recent vacation, I found that my phone would be running short on juice by mid afternoon if I went from place to place taking pictures. With this battery, the phone can easily go 2-3 days before charging becomes necessary.

The cover that comes with the battery is high quality. One side benefit is that due to the added thickness, the speaker on the back can be heard when the phone is sitting on a desk. With my previous cover, the speaker was covered up and muted when the phone was placed this way. The kit does add bulk and weight. It is really not that much thicker than the stock phone in a case, but it does about double the weight. This is a tradeoff you will need to decide if you want to make, but the added convenience of not having to worry about the battery is worth it to me. I would recommend this product.
