buy silver heels Garmin Nuvi Car Charger Adapter

After a summer of being on the river 2 or more times a week and wishing I had my ipod, I finally found this little gem now that summer is over. It's not extremely loud, and if you are going through rapids frequently, you might not hear it well. However for typical floating it's great, and puts out enough sound for the whole canoe, and certainly enough for the kayak. I let it play for about 6 hours on one set of batteries and it goes full strength the whole time. It's also great for beaching when you want to hang on the banks for a while and chill.
The only problem I had that is when I put in my ipod and a pack of batteries, I busted my ipod screen. That was my fault though since I wasn't careful about the ipod placement. Make sure you put your ipod in the little netting (and don't put anything between your ipod and the speaker) inside or risk ending up with a busted screen. It was okay b/c the day before I had ordered a new ipod. Anyway, I highly suggest this water-resistant speaker!

I just brought a brand new Garmin Nuvi GPS system and am not sure can I charge it with a usb cord into my computer's usb port? The instructions said I can use an ac adapter which I don't have yet or the car charger which I do have. But I need to charge it at home. It lights up when I plug it in and the screen shows an icon of a usb and a computer, but I am not sure, does that mean that it is charging or not?
havent received my garmin yet still waiting for it to come in
I accidentally broke the charger a few months back and never got around to replace it. The Garmin website says that the vehicle power cable usually ships within 3-5 weeks...I am leaving Monday and need it ASAP! So, is there any other car charger that will work for me?
I bought a Garmin Nuvi 255w and it only came with a car charger, I bought a mini usb cable and I was wondering if I could plug the usb side into the iPod power adapter so I can charge it in my house? Thanks
Mostly I want a gps for geocaching but since they cost around $200-300, I figure I could spend a few hundred more and get one that is good for driving as well. (One that plugs into the cigarette lighter bu then has an internal battery so that it can be used for hiking as well) Thanks!
I jsut bought a garmin GPS and it sucks.. how come i cannot charge it while its navigating at the same time like my other GPS..? does anyone have the same problem with the garmin gps>? whenever i plug in the power from either the car charger or the ac adapter... it just charge it without enabling me to continue using it... this sucks because my gamin battery have a very low life and i cannot go anywhere just depending on the battery itself.... anyone have similar issue?
So i have this Garmin Nuvi 1300 and it was workin fine for a while and then i dropped the car charger out of the car and didn't realize it so i lost it. I was thinkin no biggie ill just get a new one. Well i have been using a motorola charger cuz that fits the port on it and lately it hasn't been working. When it turns on I get this green bar on the bottom of the screen, like a computer loading bar. Then after it has loaded it will go to the connect to computer sign. I plugged it into my computer and updated the software. I must have reset and re-updated the darn thing at least 5 times. Then I figured it might be the charger so i went out and bought a charger at target. It was a generic car charger but it said that it works for Garmin. It still went to the green bar, and then to the computer connect screen. I even replaced the fuses in the fuse box to a smaller one to see if it would bring the current down. I figured there might be 2 power levels, one for computer, and one for car and it was thinkin it was a computer cuz the motorola charger had a larger current than the Garmin. It also won't find places many times like the community center around here. The Thing will work on my friends charger and when it isn't charging but not mine. Anyone know what to do, I can't afford to buy a new one.
