This WORKS GREAT! I have the Samsung S3 and it works just fine. To those who say that this kit doesn't work with S3 or Note 2 you didn't do your research!! The AppRadio and this kit ALONE doesn't work with the S3 or Note 2. You MUST buy separately an MHL adapter that has an 11 pin connection. This is because Samsung went outside the norm and changed the micro USB port on the S3 and Note 2 to an 11 pin connection. To my knowledge Samsung is the only one that does this, so the kit only comes with a 5 pin micro USB connection. This was a great buy at well below retail and I just love it. And please make sure you buy the MHL adapter from Samsung because I made the mistake and bought one from amazon and it was totally different from the at Best Buy. The weight was different, the packaging was different (even though it said Samsung and was for Samsung S3 it didn't work. So I went to Best Buy and got the REAL MHL adapter). This kit plus the MHL adapter from Samsung, I can now use the appradio as intended.
