This review is for the Rand McNally USA, Large Scale Road Atlas, 2013 since it seems the reviews are combined for different atlases.

I believe there were some comments about the atlas being cheap. Look, it's paper, with a plastic spiral binding. If you want hard cover and thick pages, it's going to be five times the price and five times as thick.

This was a great book for our trip, and it survived a 9-year old boy flipping it through it as well as it being passed back and forth from front seat to back and getting squashed in between luggage and assorted car junk. No rips, no tears. Yes, you should take care when turning the pages, but that's with any book.

The large print is easy to read. I can't imagine going smaller. Yes, the book is a bit large, but oh well. It's worth it so you can get a lot of information packed into a readable format.
