canon powershot review ChargerCity Windshield Suction Bracket Holster

I did a lot of research before selecting this Garmin G-5. I was particularly concerned that some owners said it was hard to see in the sun, etc. I'm over 70 with mediocre vision and I had no trouble at all. The most you have to do is tilt it a bit one way or the other and it's very easy to see. The thing I liked the best about the G-5 was it's ease of operation. The best single feature, I think, is the ability to measure the drives of all members of your group (assuming you all use the same teebox) with just a couple taps on the screen. All six friends I've played with so far quite enjoyed that. I also liked the "heft" of the unit. It has good weight to it and you can tell tactilely and visually that it's not just a cheap piece of plastic. I also have a good range finder and by using it in conjunction with the G-5 I gained additional help with shots to the green. Because the range finder, of course, gives the yardage to the flag. But often I can't tell, especially on elevated greens, whether the pin is front, back, or middle. The G-5, of course, easily gives me the yardage to the middle. So if the pin is, therefore, in the back, I might use less club than normal to insure I don't go over the green. And vice versa if the pin is up front I'll probably use a bit extra club. My point is that even if you have a range finder, there are still many good reasons to also have the G-5! Good job, Garmin.

Forgot my original in a rental car...this one is a perfect replacement for my Garmin Nuvi 200.
Of course I got a mount with my Garmin 205w, but I wanted to use it in two vehicles. I bought the extra one to use in my work truck when needed. It just makes is one less item to forget to get when transferring the unit back and forth between the two vehicles.
perfect replacement for my lost garmin nuvi 205w windshield clip, feels solid and durable. attaching clip to the ball mount was a bit tough almost as if they didnt go with each other but this was not the case and the clip/mount is perfect
Be aware though. This cheap holder does NOT include the sticker based holding disc like the stock Garmin mount did. So if you think you will get that too, you will not. Am I ok with that as I don't use the disc and still have my stock disc with my Garmin box. This does not come in a box. It looks like a generic knockoff in a ziplock bag. But it looks exactly the same and it holds to the windshield just as well for me. The suction cup did come with protection covering it. Ball connection feels just as firm as the stock Garmin one. I was worried it would be either too loose or too tight. But it feels the same.
Now if only someone sold a cheap version of the FM antenna power cable model GTM 25 or 35 for the 265WT.
This suction mount is strongly holds in place just as well or better than the original that came with my Garmin device. The technical description on Amazon.com included a disc mount but I didn't receive a disc mount with my package. So I emailed the seller, and they promptly apologized and sent me a disc mount for the dashboard. Excellent customer service!
I just needed to replace the one I had. Somehow it got lost AGAIN. The product fit and works well my GPS. I recieved it in a timely matter.
Product beat expectations. Holds the Navigation system better than the manufactures orginal. Recommend this product and service to the next buyer.
This suction cup is way better than the original Garmin that came with my nav. With this unit my navigation no longer nosedives off my windshield 30 seconds after putting it on, it is on nice and secure. If you are sick of having to "wet" the suction cup of your factory Garmin unit then get this one.
