This is what I have been looking for!

I have used cigarette lighter mounts, suction cups and gorilla-mobile for the iPhone 3gs. They are all good, but this is by far the best. First I just switched from the iPhone 3gs to the Galaxy Note (If you haven't tried the Note you need to, it is far superior to any apple phone. The "Too Big" reviews are overstated I can fit this anywhere my iPhone would fit). Sorry I digress, but I needed something to fit the Galaxy Note in while driving and this does the job perfectly. It is also in the perfect location while driving (no more reaching). In addition it is in the best position for my car charger and plug in the aux cable for stereo (Dodge Caliber). My only negative comment is I can't see the stereo stations or clock on my radio, but I hardly use the radio anyway.

Galaxy Note owners (and future phablet owners) you won't be disappointed, especially for the price.

So far I couldn't be happier. This was exactly what I was looking for in a car mount. The construction is pretty solid and doesn't budge at all. The mount slips into your car CD player and tightens with a screw on the bottom of the mount (see pictures). Installation took 5 seconds! Like I said it does not budge or move at all. The back of the mount has a ball socket so it is adjustable to your viewing angle. The mount also uninstalls in another 5 seconds and can be transferred to another car. A simple and genius invention!

Some of the concerns I had going into the purchase...

    - I was worried that the CD Holder would activate the CD Tray. At least on my application it did not (2011 Hyundai Sonata). Obviously I can't speak for every car but so far so good.
    - The mount did not obstruct the power button, volume or usb power socket (of the phone/gps/mp3 etc).
    - Can position in landscape or portrait due to the versatility of the ball socket mount.
    - Max opening for phone/gps/mp3 player is 4" so my gps will fit as well if I need it to. Has a push button release just like most universal mounts then just squeeze it to the size of the item
    - Obviously you can't change CDs very easily but this wasn't an issue for me with Pandora and music on my phone playing through Bluetooth or AUX cable.

The only CONs so far is that the arms that collapse on the phone/gps/mp3 player are plastic and bend just slightly to hold the item firm. But shouldn't be an issue as long as you don't clamp it too tight.

Like I said... This is a quality mount and well worth the money! My experience with Mountek has been great.

I am very pleased with this purchase.. I looked at a lot of different types of mounts since I purchased the Galaxy Nexus, and wanted something that could fit a range of different phone sizes. The mount fit perfectly in my Mazda 3, also fits my phone perfectly.. Its also very secure, my phone doesn't wobble at all when driving and it sits at the perfect height. The button to release the phone works well, in fact it worked so well the first time that it ejected my phone into my lap.. I would definitely recommend this mount any time.. I'm just hoping that it holds up, and as long as it does I'm a very very satisfied customer.
